CiRCE Livestream

July 18, 2024 12:00am

Address: Community Church North, W5760 Mohawk Road, Campbellsport, WI US 53010

Contact: Dave Bolender

As the purchase of the Community Church North campus building continues to progress, the elders have been in serious discussion regarding the potential of launching a school. The elders, pastors, and a working group have discussed different educational models, and are seeking to learn more about the classical education model. If you want to learn more about this model, we invite you to join us at the Community Church North Campus, where we will livestream the CiRCE Institute's Annual Conference taking place in Charleston, SC July 17-20, 2024.

If you are interested in attending the livestream (no need to attend the entire event, but the resources will be available to those who sign up), please complete this registration no later than 7/1/24. Our office staff will register you and pay the fee. If you cannot make it to the livestream event, please register anyway so we can send you links to the recorded sessions in the days following the conference.

Here is a brief summary of the conference:

  • The fragmented and immature condition of our age is a cliche, a living one that plays itself out in our apparent inability to deliberate together and our evident unwillingness to exercise self-control. One gets the impression that, whatever else we are doing, we are not educating our children well.
  • Classical education cuts to the heart of the matter. Because it always took the education of “the whole child” for granted, it has always taken seriously both public and private decision-making. It offers those who are willing to listen a long tradition with practices, models, and principles for the cultivation of prudence.
  • For our 2024 national conference, the CiRCE Institute has called classical educators to contemplate prudence. Come join us!

Here is a link for more information about the conference. Also, please explore the CiRCE Institute website as it has many great resources for parents and for helping us understand the classical model of education.
