Great opportunity for fellowship and watching an inspirational movie, "Johnny Cash: The Redemption of an American Icon.” Johnny’s life embodies the paradox of every Christian who wants to do what is right but struggles to do it, just like the apostle Paul described in Romans. His story is that of redemption, and it resonates with so many of us who mess up yet still have God saying, “I’m not done with you yet.” Johnny never lost his faith. In fact, at the very end of his life, it was stronger than ever.
The movie will have an intermission with snacks and refreshments. Following the movie, there will be a discussion about the lessons learned.
This YH50+ hosted event is intended for anyone over 50 from both Community Church campuses.
