Who Are We?
We are not perfect ( or anywhere near), so don't be intimidated - as you get to know us you will learn our stories and
find out we are all the same.
What Should I Wear?
Come as you are - God doesn't care about fashion trends. He sees the inside.
What Happens When I Arrive?
*Your first time at Community Church? Park up front in the "Visitor" spot.
1. Be GREETED by friendly people that hope to pass on a smile and make you feel at home.
2. SIT down wherever you like, we have ushers that will help you find your seat if it's a little crowded and difficult to find a spot.
3. We have TWO SERVICES - one at 9:00 a.m. and one at 10:45 a.m. They last about an hour.
4. Join us in the CAFE (lower level) for coffee and refreshments between services - a great way to get acquainted.
What About My Kids?
Early Childhood for children 6 weeks - 3 years old at BOTH the 9:00 a.m. service and the 10:45 a.m. service.
The littlest church goers enjoy time in a safe place with loving trained volunteers that will teach them about Jesus.
Discovery Land for 3-5 year old, K-2nd grade year round ONLY at the 10:45 a.m. service AND for 3rd through 6th grade students (fall through spring) ONLY at the 10:45 a.m. service No Class 5/27-9/2. The Bible comes alive in this interactive curriculum and helps the students develop a Biblical world view. We learn about God, worship Him through music, and study the Bible using hands on creativity.
Kids may stay with you if you are more comfortable with that until you get to know us - there is comfortable seating off the lobby where you can go if you need to get them calmed down - no worries it happens to all of us. If they are a little bit older, we have activity bags for them to keep them busy.
What Happens in the Service?
We begin with singing songs of PRAISE to God for all they He has done for us. Contemporary music service with acoustic and electric guitars, piano, drums, bass, violin, and singing. Turn your radio to K-LOVE 105.3 FM or THE MESSAGE on
SIRIUS 063, this is a sampling of the kind of music we sing.
Then the pastor gives the SERMON for that week which is reading from the Bible. He explains what was going on at the time that is was written, why it was written, and to whom it was written. Then he relates how what was written so long ago, still applies to us today and how we can use it in our daily life!
You are welcome to leave right after we end the service or hang around a little bit and chat until the next service begins - we all like to talk to each other.
THAT'S IT for Sunday morning - we have lots going on through the week too!
No matter if you worship with us or at another church we want you to know how much God loves you and why He wrote the Bible - it is HIS love story and He did all of it just for you - so that you and He could be together for eternity in heaven!
It's never too late or too early to start a relation ship with Him.
