• Pastor Adam Baker

    Senior Pastor

I am blessed to have been called by God to serve Community Church as the Senior Pastor.  I have a great passion for my God and a desire that we would all be brought into a deeper understanding of who He is and what our role is on this earth.  I consider it a great responsibility and an immense privilege to be able to lead this body of believers into knowledge and service of our Lord and King, Jesus Christ.  God has laid it on my heart that He is calling Community Church to be a City on a Hill and that we, as a collective body, are being called to “Love Jesus. Love Others. Serve.”

I am thankful to be able to share this passion with my wife, Jenny, and our 4 children – Kaleb, Joshua, Samuel, and Ava.  My work in the ministry would be wholly impossible without the strength of God that is present in my wife and family.

Thank you for visiting our family here at Community and we would love to be able to see you around the church. God desires you to aid in the fulfillment of His mission and Community Church would love to help you discover your role!

  • John Spriggs

    Assistant Pastor

I am excited to be serving at West Bend Community church. God is moving in powerful ways. My call to ministry started at a young age and I have been seeking and following God’s voice ever since. Along the way I met my lovely wife Lura. She is truly a blessing in ministry as she serves alongside me. We have been married for 6 years.

  • Dan kelm

    pastor of discipleship & worship

It’s great to be a part of the team at Community Church!  Jesus Christ is doing great things in this church family and this community, and it’s a blessing to serve here!

I grew up locally in Brookfield and met my wife Charise at Trinity International University while pursuing a BA in Christian Ministry.  I continued on at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, completing a Master’s in Christian Thought in 2006.  Charise and I were married that same year and I also began my first full-time ministry role in youth ministry.  Before coming to Community Church, I was serving locally at Kettlebrook Church, and it’s a great blessing to continue to be a part of and serve this great community!  I’m passionate about teaching God's Word, seeing others understand it, apply it, and respond back to God in worship & obedience.  I love relational ministry, developing leaders, and seeing families grow in following Jesus Christ as Lord.

Charise and I have 3 little munchkins: Aria, Noah, & Ella, and we love opening our home and our family to get to know others, share the gospel, and grow together in Christ.

  • Dave Stone

    Director of Worship

God has blessed me with great passion and opportunity to worship and serve Him with the support of the Holy Spirit, our very talented musicians, sound and projection volunteers.  Pastor Adam, the staff, elders, congregation and my wife, Jean are wondeful, humble, godly mentors.

Jean and I met when we were both interns at Cedar Community in the summer of 1979 and have been married 35 years.  Our son Luke, his family and our siblings live in Syracuse, New York where I am originally from.  God began my spirtual journey through my parents, Catholic and Protestant churches but the Holy Spirit prompted Jean to lead me to Christ in 1980.  Thank you Holy Spirit!  Since then, God worked out all the preparations, the details, the heart, skill devolpement and the opportunities for me as a musician, chaplain, lay pastor and worship leader with a "shepherds heart" to serve Him in and outside of Christ's church.  During my years of chaplaincy ministry, I obtained a Master's in Christian Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  God has blessed me with the spiritual gifts of Mercy, Creative Communication (arts), Administration and Counceling.   I love God's Word, Bible Study and Preaching.  Praise be to God through Christ Jesus for His faithfulness and blessings.

Have you sensed God tugging at your heart to become involved in using your musical talent or technical abilities (computer/graphics/projections or running sound)?  Please, introduce yourself to me, let's talk and see what the Lord would have you share with the Church.  May God bless you richly and sustain you though Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy  Spirit.

  • Ashley Vorwerk

    Director of Children's Ministry

Ashley was born and raised in a Christian home in northern Wisconsin. Being involved in the church from a young age, started a passion for Children’s Ministry within Ashley’s heart. After graduating from high school, Ashley attended a gap year program at Forest Springs Camp and Conference Center and attended Moraine Park Technical College. She has an associates degree in Early Childhood Education. The opportunity to lead the Children’s Ministry at Community Church came along and her heart leapt at the chance. She is so excited to be on this journey with her church family and to see the children within this church body grow and fulfill their own passions that Christ placed in their hearts. Children’s Ministry played a major role in her faith and she is thankful for the opportunity to serve in this way.
